fortytwopercentgay asked: How do you make your brobot armor?

Time. Effort. Burns. Tears.

theblackbutlerxthewhitelord asked: Your brobot cosplay just popped up on my dash and I wanted to tell you it looks absolutely amazing! *_* Did you make the wig yourself?? :O How long did it take you to create the entire cosplay? (Sorry if those questions were asked before I just discovered you or rather your blog and/or cosplay. ^^")

Aw~ Thanks for the compliment! ^u^ Yeah, I made the whole cosplay myself. It took a long time to get everything symmetrical, especially since I had to work on the thing while it was actually on me. I was too impatient to make a body double.

Any piece of ‘metal’ is made of craft foam. The screws are legit screws either 3/8 or 1/4 inches long. The base form is a long sleeve T-shirt I bought, then I hot glued everything onto it. The cosplay actually has to slip over my head to wear it. No zipper. It’s a fun cosplay though :D

radioactive-kitten-of-doom asked: hello there again!! i wil not be to the con until 11:00, so i will not be at the food court to find you. so i would like to know, where will the homestuck photo shoot be held?? (for saturday & sunday)

Homestuck photoshoots are held in the same general area as where I’m planing to do photoshoots. Outside the food court and down the stairs is a large statue colloquially known as “the flying man statue”. That is where all of the Homestuck photoshoots are being held. Let me just put it out there that I am not the organizer of said shoots. I’ll be wandering the peripherals and picking out cosplayers I want photos of.

The entire cosplay was made with a black long sleeve shirt, spray painted craft foam, and screws. (Plus a whole lot of hot glue.)
And gosh! Thanks for all the compliments guys! >u< You’re all so nice~ :D
