Anonymous said: Did you happen to base your a robot armor on any specific type of armor? Or did you simply make it up?

I made it up as I went, but I made sure the basic frame still fit Brobot.

wowwhataurlwow said: hey I'm sorry for bugging you but on the brobot cosplay (awesome cosplay btw) what did you use for the hair and stuff because I need to make wings for my cosplay and i dont know what to use (sorry again if im annoying you!)

I used craft foam for the entire cosplay (and thank you). I use craft foam in practically all of my costumes because I can’t sew for shit, and I’ve actually used it to make feathers for wings. It actually works pretty well I think.

Anonymous said: Is it okay that a person makes something kinda similar to your brobot armor?

I’d prefer that people don’t copy my brobot cosplay and cosplay him themselves, but if anyone wants to make something similar or use the general idea of the costume they can go for it :)

Holy shit where did all of these notes and followers come from? Gosh! Well, sorry I haven’t been terribly active! I’ve been out of the country for break and there was terrible wifi so I wasn’t paying too much attention to my tumblr ^^’

Sorry I haven’t been answering asks! I’m terrible about answering things. I’ll try to get around to them though .3.

dirkheroofheart said: hey ^_^ I was wondering for your lil hal cosplay what did you use to draw the lines and the heart and did you do it while you were wearing it or layed flat on a table? by the way yours is so perf!! thanks! :D

Aww gosh thanks for the compliments! ^u^ For Lil Hal I used puffy paint. You can usual find it in craft stores with all the clothing paint. It has a small tip which makes it easy to make lines with, but for larger areas like the heart I put on big globs and used a paintbrush. Having it flat on a table was easier to do since it takes hours to dry.

This is what happens when you leave your camera with your friends. You can tell that cosplayers are very serious people.
